^ 5 Style Solutions To Help With Midlife Confidence Dips

Since turning 50 and probably for a bit before I've experienced periods of very low moods, a little anxiety and definitely a feeling of lack of confidence some days. It was only after doing some research and opening up that I discovered that it has to do with the menopause a bit of a relief to be honest as I'm on the whole s very positive person!

If you can relate do reach out, I've spoken to my GP and friends and family. There are many brilliant people who can help with the emotional and physical side of things for my part here are a few style solutions I've been relying on to kickstart my day and give me a boost!

1 know your body and be kind to it-

I've gained a bit of weight around my tummy but resolving to move more and eat better. In the meantime time layers are my friend and buffet dresses for spring I'll ride out this stage with a few style tweaks but try not to worry too much

2 Get organised
Planning my daily outfits keeps me calmer and in control plus I feel more confident knowing I've thought about putting an outfit together. I use my daily hanger tabs for this - a great help. Link in bio for more info!

3 Wear colour and print
I've said this so much but it's true! Don't hide away when you feel a little low instead grab a colourful scarf, bag, top you name it and get out there! A guaranteed pick me up!

4 Wear something that's special to you every day

I've got an amazing collection of statement rings, they are kind of my signature; I wear one every day and when I put them on Sarah stylist is in the house! Find something that feels really YOU and wear on repeat it could be a necklace, keycharm, earrings whatever brings you that joyful feeling!

5 lastly - always make the effort

Dressing up makes us feel better and we can face whatever the day throws at us you've got this!

I hope you find this useful please do share and keep the conversations going!
