^ 7 Sensible Sales Buys
Roll Up Roll Up!! The summer sales have started!
Before we know it the new season will be hitting the high street!
There are definitely some great bargains around in the sales but my advice to you is to ‘think ahead’ when you are sales shopping. By that I mean consider how an item could be worn in Autumn/Winter. Step away from the sequin kaftan (unless you are off to Ibiza - lucky you!!) instead look for versatile and dare I say it sensible pieces.
I have rounded up a few items I have spotted here. Most are from small independent businesses in my home city of Winchester but are also available to buy online.

Do also remember the golden rules of sales shopping -
Think of at least 3 ways you could wear an item with clothes you already have before buying.
Never buy anything that doesn’t fit you.
I would also recommend not buying damaged non returnable goods unless you have expertise at getting stains out or repairing rips etc otherwise your purchase could end up being very expensive!
Check the returns policy as it varies from shop to shop.
Stick to a budget
If you don’t love it - leave it. It is not a bargain if it ends up not being worn.
